Jubilee Mennonite Church
It all begins with an idea. A place to support the community. A place to support families. There is no way that Community Roots could ever thank Jubilee for the years of work to create this resource centre. This and there on going supports is integral to our work.

The Community
Being on this land, this neighbourhood is so important. We recognize that everyone needs community, a place to connect and feel safe. we strive to be led by those who show up. You belong because you’re here! This is your community. Thanks you for your vulnerability work, gifts, talents and so much more.

The Land.
Community Roots Resource Centre is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene and Metis people. Our primary office is located on Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We acknowledge that Winnipeg’s water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
We respect the Treaties made on these territories. We dedicate ourselves to move forward with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration to make Manitoba an inclusive and accessible place for everyone who lives here.
